Communications Pitch
Idea, concept, strategy & creative.
There is a nationwide lack of respect and recognition for teachers, and RMIT University is no exception to the problem. Teaching staff are feeling overwhelmed and underappreciated, which can influence their motivation in the classroom and as a result, the overall student experience.
With no previous initiative for World Teacher's Day in the past, we set out to develop a strategic campaign for RMIT University's response to the issue.
Our solution: #ThankUTeacher. An online and onsite interactive campaign to showcase quality teaching at RMIT by encouraging students to share their own experiences to celebrate teachers and teaching support staff across RMIT on World Teacher’s Day 2023.
how will this engage?
1. Invites students to participate in the conversation.
2. Recognises and highlights the educators of RMIT.
3. Opportunity to demonstrate the impact of teachers on students' learning experience.
4. Generates a conversation about what excellent teaching looks like.
